Red Light therapy
Use this area to describe one of your services.
Service Description
Red light therapy is a non-invasive treatment which uses specific wavelengths of light to treat the skin on a cellular level, penetrating through your epidermal and dermal layers of your skin to accomplish various outcomes. The light penetrates about 8-10 millimeters into the skin. Depending on which area of the body the red light is used, this can easily affect all skin layers, reaching into blood vessels, lymph pathways, nerves, and hair follicles. Benefits - It helps rejuvenate facial skin and smooths skin tone. Red light builds collagen in the skin to reduce wrinkles naturally by triggering the body to produce more of its own. Beneficial for skin to reduce eczema, rosacea, and acne. It helps to repair sun damage. It activates the lymphatic system and potentially improves detoxification through increased circulation. Decreases inflammation in the skin. Helps fade scars and stretch marks. Improves hair growth. Stimulates slow healing wound. Can prevent recurring cold sores, or herpes simplex. Like with any treatment this is most effective when used consistently. Side effects - no side effects. Safety - For safety eye goggles are used to protect the eyes. Studies indicate that red light therapy is safe during pregnancy. I still recommend checking with a doctor or midwife to ensure that it is safe for you. After care - usual after skin advice applies.
